Seeing the screen • Glasses • Keep the screen clean • Move it to a position of less glare • Adjust lighting around monitor • Adjust the brightness and contrast • Keep it simple, reduce the clutter • Monitor size/screen resolution • People who are visually impaired will benefit from learning to touch type.

Help with MS Office Use Zoom feature in menu or Ctrl + scroll wheel (View tab in Office 2007) Fonts – Fonts – Fonts- fonts (all size 32) Double line spacing for easier reading And Ctrl 5 will give you one and a half line spacing. Increasing the spacing between lines can also help some people. In Word Ctrl 2 will give you double line spacing.

  20. Windows Magnifier XP – All programs > Accessories > Accessibility > Windows Magnifier Vista/Windows 7 – Ease of Access Centre (WinKey U) – Start Magnifier Windows 7 has 2 options - full screen magnification or a magnifying lens
