  1. Who watches The Watchmen? Secondary English Web quest by Mr. Suchy

  2. Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? • After reading our first graphic novel we all have a lot of questions. Is this the same world as ours if not what's different? Who are the characters? Who is the author and why did he write this? Most importantly was Ozymandias right ? Through this group project we hope to answer these questions and connect ideas from the novel to the real world.

  3. Roles • The Historian: This person will look at the alternative universe the novel is set in and create a timeline featuring at least 10 events and one newspaper article you create as if you were a journalist in this alternate universe. • The Biographer: This person will have to write a biography of 3 of the main characters from the novel itself and the author (Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons). • Ozymandias: This person will write a persuasive essay on the actions of Adrian Veidtand whether or not they agree with him.

  4. Task • As a group you will have the option of doing a presentation (10-15 minutes) on your findings or to create a poster board featuring the best parts of the groups work and presenting or create a video newscast that features all 3 of you and shows what you found, to be shown in class.
