Now, take your own pictures, add slides, and text boxes, and tell what unit of measurement you would use to measure that item in the picture. For Example: What unit would you use to measure this object? * I would use centimeters or inches.

Teacher Directions • Have students complete the riddles by leaving the template in working mode and moving the sign over the units that will not be the answer. • Once students complete the riddles, they can change to slide show mode and click to check their answer. • Starting with slide 8, students can look to see how they are supposed to set up their next slides. (they may then delete slides 8,9 and 10.) • You can have them make as many additional slides by downloading their own pictures as you want, and ask them to either identify the units used to measure the objects in the picture or you may want them to set up a riddle of their own for others to try to answer.
