  3. Fonts/Colors • Fonts • Size: 36 pt or higher • Type: san serif (Arial, Helvetica, etc.) • Bold, Shadow • Upper/lower case • Use broad-tipped pen, marker • Colors • Dark back, light text; light back, dark text • Backgrounds: blue, black • Text: white, yellow • NO red: Abcdefg

  4. Safe area • Unused area/border • Prevents cutting out information

  5. Content • Avoid too much information • Eight (8) lines per page • Use graphics as a guide • Utilize traditional modes of information distribution • Keep graphics neat/simple • Keep upper-right corner clear
