Dates • He went with Columbus on his journey to America when he tried to reach Asia by water-1492 . • In 1506 he explored an island called Borinquen (now called Puerto Rico.) • In 1513 he set sail and reached a land of flowers sweet palm trees and beautiful birds. • His Exploration dates were from 1492-1521. • He made 3 journeys not including the trips back to his country.

  6. Route of exploration He left from Cuba and went around Florida.

  7. Impact • His impact was to clam land for Spain, and killed many native Americans. Just like Christopher Columbus did.
