What Is Multimedia • The combined use of several media, such as movies, slides, music, and lighting, especially for the purpose of education or entertainment. • The use of several mass media, such as television, radio, and print, especially for the purpose of advertising or publicity. • The combined use of media such as text, graphics, video, and sound, as on a computer system.
Why add the Hyper • Hypertext and Hypermedia are additions to multimedia. • Add interactivity to a presentation • Allow for non-linear associations • Students can associate comparisons, definitions, examples, and other relationships between information in a presentation.
