  3. What I ended up doing ● Editing the National Malaria Strategic Plan 2010-2015 ●Writing sections of the malaria component of the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria proposal ●Developing a new Monitoring and evaluation survey to capture post distribution outcomes

  4. Progress report • Malaria is caused by plasmodium mosquitoes • Chloroquine is a main treatment drug • What national programs do • Major sponsors include GFATM, PMI, various foreign governments • Moving away from Chloroquine with recorded resistant strains • Progress in controlling malaria in other countries (e.g. Ghana) • The process of writing a technical proposal What I knew What I know now
