Youth Initiatives • Young people’s own ideas • Project planned, carried out and evaluated by young people • Non-formal learning • Local, regional, national or transnational levels • 3 – 18 months • 18 – 30 years (15-17) • 4 persons • Non-formal group • Organisation • National or transnational projects
Youth Democracy projects • Projects aim to increase active participation of young people at all levels by supporting their participation in the mechanisms of representative democracy • National or transnational networks • 13 – 30 years of age • Minimum 16 participants from 2 countries, and 2 structures/country • Duration: 6 – 18 months
Volunteer • participate in a non-profit making activity • Not replace paid employees • Extra resource in a local project, added value • ”learning” service • (16)18 - 30 years of age • Open for all young people • No previous qualifications required • 2 months – 1 year • (2 weeks - 2 months)
Training and networking activities • Training and networking for those active in youth work and youth organisations • Promoting exchanges, cooperation and training in European youth work • Support development of projects under the ”Youth in Action” programme • Feasibility visit • Evaluation meeting • Study visit • Partner-ship building activity • Seminar • Training course • Networking • Job shadowing (practical learning experience)
