The Universities are conducting under graduate medical entrance exam called Uni-GAUGE EMeD 2015 for admission in its constituent deemed medical colleges. Applications are invited from eligible candidates by the Universitties for the MBBS entrance examination held on 31-May-2015Candidates can appear for Uni-GAUGE EMeD 2015 (Saveetha University and Sri Devraja URS Academy of higher education and research) for admissions in MBBS course.   3. www.medicalcollegesinkarnataka.com Uni-GAUGE EMeD 2015 Introduction • Uni-GAUGE EMeD 2015shall be conducted by ERA Foundation for students seeking MBBS admission 2015 at participating member universities for the academic session 2015-16. • Scores obtained by students in the Uni-GAUGE EMeD 2015 MBBS entrance exam shall be considered as of the eligibility criteria for MBBS admissionby participating universities. • The examination will be conducted on 26-Apr-2015 in about 60 cities across India.   5. www.medicalcollegesinkarnataka.com Uni-GAUGE EMeD 2015 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Eligibility Criteria to Apply for Uni-GAUGE EMeD 2015 • The candidates should have qualified in 12th Std. or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government. The last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject. • The General Merit candidates must have passed these subjects (PCB) individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in PCB (40% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of the respective State).   9. www.medicalcollegesinkarnataka.com Uni-GAUGE EMeD 2015 Test pattern • Uni-GAUGE EMeD 2015 will be conducted in the combination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) - for MBBS Course • The time allotted for the test would be 135 minutes (2 hrs: 15 min) • Uni-GAUGE EMeD 2015 will begin on 26/04/2015 at 10:00 AM and end at 12:15 PM for PCB • This is an online test – i.e. computer based test. • Each correct answer is awarded one mark. • There will be no negative marks for wrong answer. • If there is a tie in the score, participating Member Universities will adopt methods to break tie to determine the inter-se merit.
