Vision Statement Example The SER Programme will enable a seamless and rewarding student journey for students and staff.
The Programme will do this through: Simplification • We will rationalise our processes and systems to ensure a seamless and joined-up experience is provided for Students and Staff • We will simplify and clarify processes so that it easier for Students and Staff to do their work • We will remove activities that add no value to Students and Staff • We will improve collaboration to ensure we deliver an excellent student journey • We will automate where it makes sense to do so- freeing up time for our stakeholders
The Programme will do this through: Visibility and Transparency • We will develop a common data source to provide: • A “single view of the student” enabling improved decision making and student support (and/or) • Accurate , timely and relevant information to enable improved decision making and accountability • Improved quality and compliance
The Programme will do this through: E-enablement • We will E-enable the Student Journey to : • Automate “paperless” processes saving time and money • Provide easy and 24 hour access to information wherever one is (remote working) • Provide a single “look and feel” to all users • Provide users with an intuitive and simple to use interface and platform
The Programme will do this through: Adaptation and Flexibility • We will implement processes and systems to improve user control and management • We will take a modular and customisable approach to system development • We will simplify our processes and enhance our systems to increase our speed of response to sector issues and opportunities (improved compliance) • We will lay the foundations for a continuous improvement culture
