  5. Things That Can Deceive You • The power and influence of sin, Rom. 7:11 • Can underestimate the power and effect of lust and its temptations, 2 Pet. 2:19; 1 John 2:16; James 1:14-15 • Prevention: Put all sin to death and put on the heart of Christ,Col. 3:5-10, 12-13; 1 Jno. 2:15

  10. Do Not Be Deceived! • We will be deceived if we trust in ourselves or others • “The LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.”(Psa. 5:6) • Always trust in the Lord
