  2. When a baby starfish is born, it is called a larva and is part of plankton. The larva falls to the sand and grows to be a big starfish. How Starfish Are Born

  3. Starfish are cool. Starfish are in the shape of a star. They can be red, pink, purple, orange, green or blue.

  4. When a baby starfish grows up it gets five arms. There is an eye at the end of each arm. They find food by smelling. Starfish live on the bottom of the sea.

  5. The best thing about a starfish is when it loses part of its arm it will grow a new one. Starfish Can Regenerate
