ABBE DipNDEA Level 3. (Diploma in Non Domestic Energy Assessment) Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) covering the ‘Awards’, (1 to 12 credits), ’Certificates’, (13 to 36 credits) and ‘Diplomas’, (37 credits and above). Guided Learning = 205 hours, Private study = 235 hours , this may be full time or part time basis. Unit Title = the task/activity to be undertaken. Level = the complexity of the unit. Credit Value = the number of credits for which the unit qualifies. Purpose and Aim = provides a summary of the content of the unit. Learning Outcomes = what learners must do to meet the requirements of the unit. Assessment Criteria = what learners must demonstrate in order to satisfy the learning outcome of the unit. LEVEL 3 ENERGY ASSESSOR TRAINING Energy assessors will be required to produce a minimum of 3 non-domestic EPCs together with the specified supporting evidence, site notes and appropriate photographs (elevations, work spaces and services plant/ equipment and controls). Two of the three EPCs and reports must be on existing properties but one EPC/ report will be produced from the provided Simulation Building.
LEVEL 3 ENERGY ASSESSOR TRAINING Carry out THREE non-domestic energy assessments on Level 3 properties. The properties must include at least ONE in each row and column of the property grid on the next slide. . All of the property features, heating systems and potential issues listed within the grid should be covered, either within the THREE property inspections, or by other means - for example, using a computer based case study or via structured professional interview.

Undertake energy inspections of existing Level 3 non-dwellings using the Simplified Building Energy Model (iSBEM). 4. Report on the energy assessment of existing non-dwellings using Simplified Building Energy Model (iSBEM).
