This study explores the impact of participation in student organizations on life quality and social relationships at Jyväskylä University, focusing on the benefits of contact-education and international student tutoring. Through an Internet-based questionnaire, current and former task holders of Stimulus shared insights on how their involvement positively affected their self-esteem, social interactions, sense of belonging, and overall satisfaction. The findings suggest that active involvement in such activities can significantly enhance student wellbeing and academic experience, highlighting the importance of fostering social connections and engagement in school environments.
