  1. Bravecto Spot-On For Cats - An Innovative And Most Powerful Product Bravecto Spot-On Solution for cats is the new product which is launched by Merck. This product is designed based on the chewable version which was approved for dogs in 2014. Bravecto Spot-On solution offers 12 weeks of flea and tick protection for cats with the same ingredient, Fluralaner, as the Bravecto chew. This Spot-on Solution comes in a pipette form, which is twist ‘n’ use style to maximize ease of use. It can also be utilized as a treatment for flea allergy dermatitis. Bravecto Spot-on solution is specifically formulated for cats, which has an active ingredient fluralaner. This ingredient provides fast and persistent insecticidal and acaricidal efficacy in cats. As this spot-on solution is applied on the body of the cat, fluralaner is absorbed slowly into the body. In a single dose it protects the cat from flea and tick control (Ctenocephalides felis, Ixodes ricinus) for 3 months. This product may potentially be associated with mild and transient adverse events following treatment, as stated on the product label. The cat may get vomiting and salivation as a result of licking the application area immediately after the treatment. Therefore, it is recommended that after application, pets need to be under observation to avoid incidences of licking.

  2. Using Advice: Weigh your cat before starting the treatment to choose the applicator that is closest to the body weight of your cat. You can select the pipette according to the following table: BRAVECTO® 112.5 mg Spot-on for small cats (1.2 to 2.8 kg) BRAVECTO® 250 mg Spot-on for medium sized cats (> 2.8 to 6.25 kg) BRAVECTO® 500 mg Spot-on for large cats (> 6.25 to 12.5 kg) After choosing the applicator make your cat stand in a fix position Part fur at the base of the cat’s head Place the tip of the applicator on the skin which is visible Squeeze the applicator gently and apply the entire content directly on the cat’s skin  Precaution Of Use: Wear gloves when applying the product to the cat. If the solution spills on the table or floor, remove the excess product with tissue and clean the surface with detergent. Do not eat, drink or smoke while treating the pet. Do not allow children to touch the application area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not allow treated pet to come in contact with untreated animal until the application dries.  For more information about treatment with Bravecto, owners or keepers of animals are encouraged to read the manual or contact their veterinarian or click here.
