  2. Contract Task Conceptualization • Initiation • Planning • Execution • Monitoring Within the execution category, tasks may also be organized by general themes.

  3. Initiation • Orientation meeting with project officer • Establish a unique name and brand for the project • Use the unique project name and brand in all activities and communications that are supported in full or part by this contract

  4. Planning • Conduct an annual assessment of network needs • Establish a Project Advisory Committee (PAC) to advise AUCD and ADD on the contract project

  5. Execution 5 Organizing Themes: • Gaither Information/Disseminate Information to the UCEDDS • Implement Structured TA Activities • Respond to Requests for Information From UCEDDs and ADD • Develop Opportunities for the Network • Maintain NIRS For Annual Reporting To ADD

Organizing Theme 1:Gaither Information/Disseminate Information to the UCEDDS • Perform continuous surveillance for information relevant to the UCEDD network and disseminate that information • Establish a website for the for the contract project • Maintain a Web Portal that links users with every center’s website

  7. Organizing Theme 2:ImplementStructured TA Activities • Provide onsite TA visits • Provide targeted technical assistance • Respond to emerging TA needs • Plan an annual TA meeting with UCEDD Directors • Orient new UCEDD Directors • Orient new Data Coordinators

Organizing Theme 3:Respond to Requests for Information From UCEDDs and ADD • Respond rapidly to requests for information from the UCEDD network and ADD • Develop products (related to or emerging from MTARS) at the request of ADD • Convene experts from the UCEDD network in relation to national emerging needs of individuals with developmental disabilities

  9. Organizing Theme 4:Develop Opportunities for the Network • Facilitate Collaboration Among the DD Network • Build Relationships with Federal Agencies and National and International 0rganizations

  10. Organizing Theme 5:Maintain NIRS For UCEDD Annual Reporting to ADD • Maintain the Annual Report function in NIRS • Maintain NIRS • Provide TA to NIRS users

  11. Monitoring • Monthly meetings with Project Officer • Monthly updates to the Work Plan • Monthly programmatic and financial reporting

  12. Tasks Reserved for Possible Implementation in the Option Year • Establish a Listserv under the contract project • Compile and analyze state-of-the-art policies and practices • Review the annual reporting system in anticipation of the expiration of the currently OMB-approved annual data collection (i.e., UCEDD annual reports to ADD)
