Access the application on the Missouri State website https://dualcredit.missouristate.edu/ Go to “Registration” Getting Started—Online Application
If you did not enroll in dual credit classes last year, you are a first time student • If you took dual credit classes last year, you are a returning student • Returning students DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT! First Time Student vs. Returning Student
Create a username and password you will remember. • USE YOUR LEGAL NAME • Enter a telephone number ONLY if you want to receive text messages from MSU. • You will get an email from MSU confirming your enrollment Tips for First Time Students
Use your parent’s correct email • DO NOT GUESS!!! Tips for First Time Students

You will select your classes first • There will be a message to update your information • You are not registered until you update information Tips for Returning Students
Choose only courses you are taking at the high school. • Make sure you choose the appropriate teacher • English Requirements: (ENG 110) • 18 on English portion of ACT • Math Requirements: (MTH 136) • 22 on Math portion of ACT OR pass the math placement test • If your schedule says DC in the class title, that class qualifies for dual credit. DUAL CREDIT IS OPTIONAL! Select the courses—Get approved
Your parents will receive an email to inform them you are taking the class from Missouri State and they will need to provide consent and payment information. • $70 per credit hour • 3 hour class = $210 Parent Consent
Missouri State will send you your BearPass ID and instructions to set up your MyMissouriState • Set up your MyMissouriState • Set up your Missouri State email • Watch for important drop dates **YOUR dual credit enrollment IS DIFFERENT FROM YOU BEAR PASS LOG IN** Once enrolled
What if I need to drop a class? • Watch the deadline dates. • Drop the class through the dual enroll website.
If you attend Missouri State after high school graduation • Complete 9 credit hours of dual credit classes • Keep a 3.25 GPA in those dual credited classes (college grades) • MSU will award you with a $1,000 scholarship if you attend Missouri State Advantage Scholarship
