Intentional Conversations • Intentional conversations are about always working towards moving someone to action • Personal connection moves people to action. Make sure you establish personal connection • You need to understand what motivates the person you’re talking to (everyone is different) • Ask questions to develop personal connection and understand what motivates them – you should speak less than half the time • The Ask: The conversation is always working towards the Ask. Get people to think about what an appropriate Ask is, for example, asking someone to get involved with Greening the Office
