  2. Jason The Heroe • Jason was the son of Aeson. • The Leader of the argonauts. • Husband of Medea.

  3. His Story • King Pelias knew Jason's prophecy that Jason would betray his majesty so King Pelias sent Jason on a very dangerous journey because of the prophecy. • Died after getting hit on the head

  4. Normal life • Being Jason… Jason was a guy with only one sandal. Who was not very connected to his community.

  5. The call to advanture • King Pelias sent Jason to go and bring back the Golden Fleece. • King Aeetes to accomplish three tasks . • 1. To yoke and to plow a field with fierce fire breathing oxens. • 2. To sow the teeth of the dragon onto a field and to kill the army that awakens from the teeth. • 3. He must brave he sleeping dragon guarding the fleece.

  6. Allies and mentors • Jason’s Allies… • Medea • Hera • His crew

  7. Crossing the threshold • Jason and his crew were the first humans to cross the Symplegades (the clashing rocks.)

  8. Rodes of trials • Jason had to plow a field with fierce fire breathing oxens. • Jason had to sow the dragon’s teeth on the field and to kill the army that awakens from the teeth. • Jason had to brave a sleeping dragon.
