  2. Today we will… Demonstrate understanding of how recruitment posters encouraged men to join the army. Produce an example of a recruitment poster.

  3. Success Criteria… I can producean effective recruitment poster. I can distinguish between different emotions that are used in recruitment posters and use emotionin my own poster.

  4. Task One – Folio Assessment Piece – Propaganda Poster Your task is to create an individual propaganda poster to recruit soldiers. Your poster must have a clear message. • As much as possible, your poster should be appropriate to the time period. • Appropriate language – e.g. ‘enlist today’; ‘take the King’s shilling’; ‘For King and country’ etc. You should make it clear which emotion you are using in your poster – e.g. fear; guilt; pride etc.

  5. Assessment Your poster will be peer-assessed next period.
