Identify driving forces and restraining forces. Restrainers: I don’t have a swim buddy to encourage me to keep trying. Steps to get to the future (ideal) state with Getting Fit: 1. Find a friend or trainer with similar goals._ 2. Keep track of my efforts to get a sense of accomplishment_ 3. Set a reward for meeting the goal! 4. ________________________________ Drivers: A pool is available to me. I enjoy swimming. Ifeel better after any effort. Current State: I’m not energetic enough to swim more than four laps.
