1. Kindergarten News Book Fair The Scholastic Book Fair will run all of next week in the Media Center. Our students will shop on Wednesday, March 6th. Please send money in a sealed envelope with your child’s name on it if he/she wishes to shop. Word Wall Words This week we added the word “with” to our word wall. So far we have the following words: a, I, the, my, see, like, to, go, and, is, has, here, for, have, he, she, play, said, you, are, we, do, it, of, can, was, with Please practice these words at home with your child. Hallway Volunteers Due to Guest Readers coming in the morning, I will not have hallway volunteers in March. The schedule will resume in April. Please continue to practice your child’s sight words! We used many different types of thinking maps to help organize our thoughts. The children watched educational video clips on Brain Pop Jr. that aligned with these concepts. We also wrote the steps in “how to” brush our teeth and “how to” loose a tooth. Upcoming Dates March 4th-8thScholastic Book Fair March 7th-1/2 day of school. Dismissal is at 12:04.
