  2. 2006/07 Class Size Survey • Survey results have been submitted to Alberta Education • Results will be posted after verification by Alberta Education • 2006/07 marks year 3 of the initiative • Alberta Commission on Learning’s division average class sizes are to be met: • Kindergarten-grade 3 - 17 • Grades 4-6 – 23 • Grades 7-9 – 25 • Grades 10-12 - 27

  5. Distribution of Class Sizes – K-3All Subjects PHRD Target Range = 11-25 # of classes <11 = 49 (8.6%) (05/06=30) # of classes >25 = 7 (1.2%) (05/06=9)

  6. Distribution of Class Sizes – Gr 4-6All Subjects PHRD Target Range = 16-30 # of classes <16 = 44 (10.9%) (05/06=30) # of classes >30 = 2 (05/06=0)
