ROLE OF SAMSUNG • Develop the technical specifications, financial estimates and implementation plan for the project • Provide the technical expertise for the Wireless Broadband Infrastructure build out • Provide training and technical support to ensure long term sustainability of the Broadband Network • Specify the Requirements for a Niger Delta-wide IPTV (Television) and VOIP (Telephone) Service

NDDC Youth Computer Training Program goes Online • Wireless Network of NDDC accredited Computer Training Centres • Online Application for Centre Accreditation • eLearning Programs to cover all the training modules • CISCO Academy Online Program (Also Oracle, Microsoft, Linux/Open Source Programs)

  4. Upgrading NDDC Training Centres to full Multi-purpose Telecentre Status • The pervasive broadband internet access will spur the upgrading of NDDC accredited training centres to full Multi-purpose Telecentres for broad-based community service delivery • eGovernment service delivery • eAgriculture and eCommerce support

NNDC Skills Acquisition Program also goes Online • Online selection and recruitment of candidates • Web-based advertising of accredited centres • Web-based Solicitation of Federal, Corporate and International Community Partners for sustainability of the scheme • Special Online promotional programs to motivate program participants

  6. Social Networking for Digital Content Development • Social Entrepreneurship Support for Local Digital Content Business Development • Nigerian Music (local and hip-up) • Nigerian Movies (Nollywood) • Culture and Tourism • Arts and Craft

  7. NDDC Online Oil and Gas training Institute • Niger Delta-wide Access to Oil and Gas Training Curriculum • Online Placement availability negotiation with Oil and Gas Companies • Advertising and promoting Entrepreneurship opportunities for Niger Delta residents as a result of the Oil and Gas local content policy
