FYI: Almost all astronomical images shown in this class were taken byamateur astronomers using 8-16" telescopes.Disclaimer: Most images are from long exposures with digital cameras. Visual views won't normally be this good!

(Monday: 9 PM) • Read syllabus • Read “Introduction” chapter of Manual • Complete Review Quiz 1 on Collab site • Prep for Lab I Constellations by reading writeup in Manual. Will do lab next Monday night following Lecture 1, if clear. (Will be offered only 2 nights.)
