BLOOD ORANGES • The pigment that makes these oranges "bloody" comes from a health-promoting phytonutrient called anthocyanins found in other red fruits and flowers • The color of a blood orange's flesh can vary from pink to burgundy and, depending on the variety, the outside may also have dark washes of red, a sunset-like exterior

  3. Uses for BLOOD ORANGES

  4. BLOOD ORANGES • Two to four medium oranges = 1 cup of juice. • Two medium oranges = 1 cup of bite-size pieces. • One medium orange = 10 to 12 sections. • One medium orange = 4 teaspoons of grated peel.
