Twitter Facts • Optimum tweet length is 100 characters • This allows people to say something when they retweet • Best days to tweet: Saturday and Sunday • Wed. and Thurs. are the lowest rate of engagement • 30% more engagement between 8am to 7pm • optimum number of hashtags= 2 • decrease in engagement when there are more than 2 hashtags • Retweet rate increases when a Tweet asks for a retweet, not RT
