Newsletter/Panui August 2014 Victory Street The children have loved learning about Traditional Tales and all the new Nursery Rhythms so we have continued to extend this interest. During the month we aim to learn about more tales and nursery rhythms. Do some drama and make props for these. What a great time we had at the Selwyn Ridge School Production ‘Made In New Zealand’. We would like to: Welcome: Amelie. Farewell: Harihuri tau ki a koe (happy birthday) to : Taranveer (4), Blake (4), Emma-Jane and Nicole (both 21!) Kia Ora Koutou. A friendly reminder please bring your child with a drink bottle. Staff Vicki will be on holiday for 2 weeks, during this time Tracy will be working more hours and we also have Sarah Waugh working with us. Up & Coming Events Dress up day is this Thursday. Mid Christmas Raffle, tickets are on sale now. We are planning a trip at the end of the year. Any donations greatly appreciated. School Visits On Thursday we will be taking our 5 oldest children on visits to Selwyn Ridge School and joining in their new entrants class. Every 2nd Friday we will be attending a school assembly alternating between Selwyn Ridge and Welcome Bay Schools.
