Diet The Bengal tiger is a carnivore- a meat- eater. The Bengal tiger eats deer. The tiger hunts alone. The tiger often kills its prey with a bite on the neck.
Survival Humans destroy the tiger’s home’s for wood. This powerful cat has no predators other than man. People kill them for parts like skin or to make Chinese medicine from its body parts.
Habitat Bengal tigers lives in the forests in Asia . The tiger’s home is called a den. They live in India, Bangladesh and Nepal, Bhutan and Burma. The Bengal tiger lives in a variety of habitats.
Other Facts The tiger’s babies are called cubs. They sleep during the day and hunt at night. The Bengal tiger can run fast . They like water and also swim.
