The standard trigger bar on our 189 Ton machines is 38.9” (38.9). The trigger bar on the 160 (700/1200 ETB) is 44”. The price of the IBM 160 is only $7,000 USD more than the 315 Ton. With a minimum of (+5”) trigger bar, without any loss in speed, the IBM 160 Ton has a big commercial advantage.
