Headache disorders • WHO ranks migraine alone 19th amongst causes of disability (World Health Report 2001) • Other primary headache burden combined, headache disorders are likely to be in top 10 • In E, approx. 180 million days absent from school or work because of migraine every day; estimated direct cost >20 billion euros p.a.
The challenge: “It’s only headache.”
