NOAA Happenings • Satellite Launches • Successful launch of the NOAA-18 polar-orbiting satellite on May 20 from Vandenberg Air Force Base. • GOES-N geostationary satellite launch was delayed due to issues with the Boeing launcher, scheduled now for July 28 from Kennedy Space Center. • Revised Scope and Schedule of the Climate Change Strategic Plan Synthesis and Assessment Products • NOAA has the lead of 7 on the 21 and contributes to 11 others Science Advisory Board Public Session
