Attendance Good school attendance is one of the most powerful ways you can prepare your child for success—both in school and in life. When you make school attendance a priority, you help your child get better grades, develop healthy life habits, and have a better chance of graduating from high school. However, if your child is sick and unable to attend school, please send a note, text or email to the teacher or someone in the office, as soon as possible to ensure the absence may be coded excused.
