  1. UNICEF • The goal of UNICEF is to assist needy children. Charitable means to do a act of kindness or good deed. Some examples of a charity is The red cross, ACPSA, and Wounded Warriors. • A direct quote from UNICEF is,” We believe that the nurturing and caring for children are the cornerstones of human progress.” • UNICEF is sponsored by the United Nations and the US did “Trick or Treat for UNICEF.” Something I can do to be charitable is to go to a soup kitchen and serve soup for the homeless. UNICEF won the noble peace prize, and there are over 190 countries involved in UNICEF. Leonardo DiCaprio has founded the Leo DiCaprio Foundation. He has also helped out 19 other charities including the Cinema for Peace, Declare Yourself, and Feeding America. UNICEF also promotes girls education and the prevention of AID/HIV among young people
