Homework Expectations • Assigned approx 3-4 nights per week • Serves as practice/reinforcement of skills learned in class • Must show evidence of attempting to solve/complete assignment to receive credit • Must attempt every problem and be prepared to ask questions • Students are to use their resources (notes, textbook) when they are unsure of concepts • Not everything will be right on the first try, but it is figuring out what went wrong that helps students to learn.

  6. Attendance and Assignments • Weekly homework assignments written on board and posted on website each Monday • Students are responsible for recording assignments in their agenda • Students are responsible for completing and turning in missed assignments, and copying missed notes upon return to class • All homework must be made up when absent • Students have two days for every day absent to make up work for full credit • Students must make up all missed tests, quizzes and assessments.

  7. Late or Missing Assignments • Late homework accepted one day late for ½ credit.   8. Grades • Will be available online through my website (soon). Parents will obtain passwords & directions on how to access grades in the mail. • 80% of grade based on Test and Quiz scores • 20% of grade based on Homework and Class Work • Grading Scale: • 100-90% = A • 89-80% = B • 79-70% = C • 69-60% = D • 59% = F
