Governor’s Civic Engagement Award Timeline: • Start of school year: kickoff 1 • By October voter reg deadline: Phase 1 voter reg drive • November election – November 5, 2019 • After winter break: kickoff 2 • By March/April voter reg deadline: Phase 2 voter reg drive • April 3, 2020: deadline for GCEA applications • Spring primary election – April 28, 2020 • May recognition events
