Executive Summary • Sakhindima was founded in 2007 by Ignatius Maphanga. We have high goals to deliver high quality service to our clients. Sakhindima Consultants is a services and advisory company. The company is 100% Black. It is owned, managed and controlled by entrepreneurial Black South African emanating mostly from the Accounting disciplines, with sound corporate background and impressive business qualifications. The guiding philosophy of management is to deliver tangible benefits in chosen markets and to create value at shareholder, managerial and operational levels. • Sakhindima Consultants aim at helping small and medium sized organizations in South Africa by taking the burden of administration and accounting away from our clients, in that way they can spend more time doing what they know best whilst they know that their accounting records and administration are in the hands of capable and qualified people. • Our client’s needs are more diverse. Ignatius Maphanga • Ignatius holds a B.Com degree and several diplomas. He has skills in Bookkeeping and Accounting, Sales and Promotions, Administration, Credit Control, Cost & Management, Taxation and computing. • Ignatius has extensive experience in the medical aid, Bookkeeping & Accounting, sales and promotions and employee benefits which he gained as an accountant and a sales assistant, whilst employed by Medscheme (Pty) Ltd, South African Breweries, Bavukile Business Administration CC and NBC (Pty) Ltd. Justice Tembo Justice began his career in 2003 as a trainee accountant at Deloitte & Touche. He then took several leadership roles at the Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants of Southern Africa (ABASA) and Deloitte & Touche. In 2005 he was a member of the ABASA Western Cape Education sub committee and a transformation representative at Deloitte & Touche. He was a part time tutor at the National School of Accounting (Pty) Ltd, tutoring Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting to the University of Kwazulu Natal B.Comm Honours students. During his traineeship he was seconded to Old mutual Specialized Finance (Pty) Ltd as a risk manager for two months. His clients portfolio comprised of Asset Management companies, Collective Investments Schemes, Medical Aid Schemes, Retirement Funds, Micro lenders and Property Companies. His clients among others were V & A Waterfront Property (Pty) Ltd, Kagiso Asset Management , Nedcor Unit Trusts and BankMed Medical Aid Scheme. In 2006, after completing his articles he joined Nations Capital Advisors as a Corporate Finance Associate. Before establishing Sakhindima Advisory Services, he worked on major projects as listed below
