  1. Migration of the Painted Lady- Start by rolling one dice-

  2. 1 You emerge from your cocoon and rest in the sun while drying your wings. Hold your arms out and count to ten. Move ahead 7 stations.

  3. 2 You emerge from your cocoon and are immediately eaten by a dragonfly. You are dead. Return to start.

  4. 3 You emerge from your cocoon and fly away in search of a mate. Move ahead 5 stations.

  5. 4 You find a large patch of stinging nettle and have a great feast! Count to 20. Move ahead 5 stations.

  6. 5 You emerge from your cocoon and it’s raining heavily. Count to 30 while you wait for the rain to stop. Move ahead 5 stations.

  7. 6 As you emerge from your cocoon you injure one of your wings. Fly in circles on your way ahead 1 station.

  8. 7 A strong wind blows you forward. Roll the dice and move ahead.

  9. 8 You get chased by a bird but you get away! Spin in a circle four times and then move back 1 station.

  10. 9 You find a sunny leaf to rest on. Sit down and take three deep breaths. Roll the dice and move ahead that many stations.

  11. 10 You find some excellent flowers and take a moment to sip some nectar before moving ahead 3 stations.

  12. 11 It’s getting dark and hard to see. Walk ahead 2 stations while facing backwards.

  13. 12 You encounter a number of dragonflies and take evasive action. Roll the dice and run ahead that many stations.

  14. 13 You stay out too late and get chased by a bat. Roll the dice: 1,2,3 = You get eaten by the bat! You are dead. 4,5,6 = You escape and move ahead 1 station

  15. 14 You are harassed by a bee while feeding. Wave your arms around and scream like a crazy person for three seconds. Move ahead 2 stations.

  16. 15 You are chased south by a bird. Spin in a circle three times and run ahead 6 stations.

  17. 16 A strong wind blows you off course and you lose your way. Roll the dice and move ahead.

  18. 17 You’re almost home for the winter. Say “There’s no place like home” three times. Move ahead 5 stations.

  19. 18 You fed from a flower with pesticide on it. You are dead. Return to start.

  20. 19 You enter a Nature Reserve with lots of flowers to eat and places to hide. Clap your hands and cheer! Move ahead 5 stations.

  21. 20 You find a big patch of thistles and stay to feed. Count to 15 and then move ahead 3 stations.

  22. 21 You encounter some good weather. Fly to the south where you will spend the winter. You made it!

  23. 22 You get caught by a Biologist. He brings you to the Elementary School where you are dissected by the students. You are dead.

  24. 23 You encounter some good weather. Fly to the south where you will spend the winter. You made it!

  25. 24 You encounter some good weather. Fly to the south where you will spend the winter. You made it!
