Bunk House • Noun • A building that provides sleeping quarters for workers on a ranch or farm • During the Great Depression, it was not unusual to see twenty people sleeping in a bunk house to stay warm.
Mollified • Adjective, verb • Smothered; pacified • The mother mollified her screaming child by feeding him. • The mollified baby slept happily.
