  3. The Body Must Follow the Head Before the Body • During the days of Israel, God required obedience from His people. • Consider Moses' commands. • Deut 4:2-6 • Deut 11:13-17 • Israel was not always faithful to God.

  12. The Body Must Follow the Head Conclusion • Jesus Christ is the head of the body, the church, which is composed of Christians throughout the world. • Those individual Christians come together in local areas to form local churches.

  13. The Body Must Follow the Head Conclusion • Just as Christians, as individuals, must follow Jesus Christ, so too must Christians functioning as local groups continue to follow the head, Jesus Christ.
