These can be noted down before assembling into a tree. • There are varying degrees of complexity depending on the individual families concerned. A fairly simple tree can be drawn based on Liebe Schneider. • For increased levels of difficulty, Liebe’s brother-in-law Nicholas and his family could be added. • Extension: • Can the different relationships be identified and named eg uncles, grandparents, cousins? • Can they draw a family tree for an historic figure eg Henry VIII or Queen Victoria?
