Unclassified Foreign Visits and Assignments TERRORIST SPONSORING COUNTRIES (T-4) Applies to Individuals who are: Citizens of Born In Affiliated With NOTE: With a host and a business need, T-4 individuals, who are not working or conducting research, are allowed short-term public access to the Laboratory (i.e., meetings, conferences, interviews, etc.) without DOE approval • Visits and assignments must be approved by DOE • DOE Secretarial approval required PRIOR to access • 4-6+ month approval process T-4 individuals who have become naturalized U.S. citizens are exempt
