Ways to Improve Flexibility/Openness: • Interact with different people; • Enjoy being alone from time to time; • Practice doing tasks at a slower pace; and • Visit a cultural setting different than your own.
Perceptual Acuity (PAC): • Attentive to verbal/non-verbal cues • Aware of communication dynamics • Empathy
Ways to Improve Perceptual Acuity: • Learn how other cultures communicate and how they perceive your culture; • Practice “active listening”; • Ask for information from others regarding how they perceive you; and • Observe body language.
