Infatuation or Love? • How can you tell? • First, find descriptive words hidden somewhere in the classroom. • Then, decide if it best describes infatuation or love. • Place your answers on the board. • Let’s review the answers.

Infatuation Characteristics • Taking • Immediate, quick • Burns out quickly • Selfish, looking after own interests • May be dishonest • Based on physical attraction • Surface relationship • Insecure, jealousy, mistrust
Role Playing • I need some volunteers. • Read the situations and pretend you have the feelings described and role play it for the rest of the class. • The class needs to then identify if it is an example of love or infatuation.
