  1. Science Mumbo Jumbo “The expression and activation of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) by tumor cells is correlated with progression to invasive and metastatic status. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of increased MMP-2 (gelatinase A) expression in prostate cancer progression utilizing human prostate PC-3 cancer cells that overexpress MMP-2 using gene transfection. PC-3 cells were transfected with pCR-3 vector only and pCR-3 MMP-2 plasmids employing the LipofectAMINE method, and stable transfectants were selected with G418.”

  9. Job Doesn’t Deserve This • Sexually Pure (31:1, 31:9) • Honest (31:5) • Fair with servants (31:13) • Generous to the poor (31:16) • Faithful to God (31:24)

  10. Job 31:35 35Oh, that I had one to hear me!    (Here is my signature! Let the Almighty answer me!)    Oh, that I had the indictment written by my adversary!36 Surely I would carry it on myshoulder; I would bind it on me as a crown; 37I would give him an account of all my steps

  11. Summary Job has questioned God: Why have you made me your mark God? (7:20) I don’t deserve this (31:1-37) But God is unquestionable

  12. Job 38:1-5 1Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said: 2 “Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?3 Dress for actionlike a man;    I will question you, and you make it known to me.

  13. Job 38:1-5 4 “Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?    Tell me, if you have understanding. 5Who determined its measurements—surely you know!

  14. Job 38:18 18 Have you comprehended the expanse of the earth?    Declare, if you know all this.

  15. Job 40:1-2 And the Lord said to Job: 2 “Shall a faultfinder contend with the Almighty?    He who argues with God, let him answer it.”

Job 28:12-15 12 “But where shall wisdom be found?    And where is the place of understanding?13 Man does not know its worth,    and it is not found in the land of the living.14 The deep says, ‘It is not in me,’    and the sea says, ‘It is not with me.’15 It cannot be bought for gold,    and silver cannot be weighed as its price.

  23. Job 42:1-6 4 ‘Hear, and I will speak;    I will question you, and you make it known to me.’5 I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear,    but now my eye sees you;6 therefore I despise myself,    and repentin dust and ashes.”
