Class Standing • High School students must schedule a minimum of 6.5 credits in each of their 4 years. • Grade 9 to 10 Minimum 4 credits • Grade 10 to 11 Minimum 11 credits • Grade 11 to 12 Minimum 18 credits • Grade 12 to Graduation Minimum 25 credits Refer to page 6 in the 14-15 Curriculum Guide

Course Weighting / Class Rank • Weighted Courses: English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Foreign Language • 3-Level System • 1.0, 1.2, 1.4 course weighting • Refer to A-C Curriculum Guide for weightings • Class rank is determined at the end of each school year • Exception made for senior year (Valedictorian/Salutatorian)

When dressing for school, students shall NOT… • Expose extra skin (ex. midriff) • Expose undergarments on the outside • Wear leggings, jeggings, yoga pants, stretch pants, pajama pants • Wear hats/headwear • Wear sunglasses • Wear clothing that promotes drugs, alcohol, sex, violence, profanity, etc. • Wear outerwear in the building (hats, jackets, etc.)

  23. Dress Code • Common Issues • Length of skirts/shorts/shirt: fingertips, all the way around. • Straps: 3 fingers wide • Hats: Not permitted. • Logos: No drugs, alcohol, tobacco, weapons. • Undergarments: Not visible. • Consequences • Change of clothes from home or nurse • Detention

Lockers: • Students are assigned one locker • Lockers are the property of Annville-Cleona School District • Students are to maintain their locker in an orderly fashion • Students may not damage/deface their locker • Combo mechanism is built-in • Changed annually • Do notshare your combination with anyone! • Do not rig it for easy opening

Educational Tours/Trips • Educational tours/trips are permitted • Written request must be submitted to secondary school office at least 5 days in advance of trip • Form is available from secondary school office or website • Administrative approval is required for absence to be excused • Avoid trips during benchmarking, PSSAs, and Keystones. *Attendance *Grades *Discipline

  26. Health Issues & Medication • Please see handout in packet for specifics. • Medications must be registered with the nurse. • Students may not be in possession of medication other than emergency response meds.
