MU Medical Clinic • On-campus medical clinic and wellness center for all MU students • Staffed by 4 physicians, 3 physician assistants, full complement of ancillary medical personnel (including dietician) • Operate on an appointment-based system – up to 60% of appointment slots available for same day • Appointments can be made in person, by phone, or online via secure web portal (accessed from our website) • Satellite clinic and wellness facility opening in October in 707 Building

Graduate Student Access Pay a per-semester health fee ($145) • Entitles you to unlimited provider, nurse, dietician visits (no visit charge or co-pay) • Free core services and labs, including yoga and massage • Reduced fees on non-core services and labs Fee-for-service • Pay at time of service for each visit/service/lab Student Health Insurance Program (voluntary or hard-waiver) • MU Medical Clinic (MUMC) and MU Sports Rehab are in-network providers • Pays 100% of charges for covered services • Co-pay and deductible waived at MUMC & MU Sports Rehab • MUMC will directly bill

All newly admitted or readmitted students required to comply with MU immunization and TB screening policy Proof of immunization required for MMR, chicken pox, tetanus; screening questions for TB Failure to comply will result in a medical hold preventing future registration Form must be completed through CheckMarq Immunization Policy

Immunization and TB Screening Form Instructions for completing your forms: • Go to https://checkmarq.mu.edu/ • Enter your username and password • Once you have successfully accessed your student account, select the Next Step link • You now will see your Next Step dashboard • Complete the health forms.

Student Health Insurance Program • Optional, voluntary program available to all graduate students - Coverage dates: August 1, 2013 – July 31, 2014 - Enrollment deadline is October 1, 2013 - Dependent coverage available to purchase • $500,000 maximum annual benefit • Mental health benefits same as any illness • Annual premium $2,565.00 (Fall only = $1,069.00)

36. Marqcat Plus is a DISCOVERY tool. It allows you to search simultaneously through a number of databases (including Marqcat.) It does NOT search ALL of our databases, nor does it offer sophisticated searching.   We STRONGLY recommend that graduate students who are doing more comprehensive research on a topic, to DIRECTLY use the databases in their subject area.
