Elizabethan Wars. Bloody war against the Spanish . The Spanish and English war started over power and wealth over the New World trade. Also Religion started over it too because Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth had there own differences about religion.

  1. Elizabethan Wars Bloody war against the Spanish

  2. The Spanish and English war started over power and wealth over the New World trade. Also Religion started over it too because Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth had there own differences about religion.

Queen Mary burnt 300 protestants at the stake and people called her Bloody Mary. • Queen Elizabeth was kick out of the Catholic church in 1570. • England sent aids to Netherlands because William of Orange was murder. • The queen went and took Netherlands under her protection by issuing a declaration on August 14, 1585. • English army lead by Robert Dudley was sent into Netherlands to fight the Spanish forces on December 8, 1585.

April 19,1587 The Spanish fleet at Cadiz was defeated by Drake. • August 8, 1588 A fleet of 34 English ships defeated 132 of the Spanish Armada. • The Spanish forces landed and burned down the English town of Penzance in 1595. • March 24, 1603 Queen Elizabeth passes away and King James of England took over. • On 1603 the war ended with the Treaty Of Paris
