3 Intro to the TMS System For over 15 years, our existing TMS system has enabled ProTrans to provide our customers with a cost-effective way to get their freight to its destination on time.

In order to meet these changing needs, our development team has designed a flexible, web-based application that is responsive, adaptable, and robust enough to handle customer demands.

6 Agile Development Process Benefits • Requirements • Past Development Process - Requirements are written then developers review the final document before beginning any coding. • Agile Development Process - The requirements are prototyped with the business and IT on a defined schedule, as often as daily, to meet changing needs. • Testing • Past Development Process - Testing is done at the completion of the development phase. • Agile Development Process - Testing is completed as each prototype version is completed. • Training • Past Development Process - Documentation is started at the end of the development phase. • Agile Development Process - Documentation is created as created, and then updated as each prototype version is completed ensuring documentation is readily available. • Deployment • Past Development Process - There is only one main release, and any problems or delays mean the release may not meet the customers expectations. • Agile Development Process - A release is each reiteration of the prototype which means there is always a working model.
