  1. Ways to ensure your kid is physically active in summer

  2. Importance of physical activity  Being active physically isn’t something only adults need, even kids need a good amount of daily moving around to stay healthy. When it comes to kids' physical activities like playing outdoors or in a park, trampolining, good old running around with their buddies, etc. Sometimes these take a backseat during their summer break, this makes sports summer camps and other physical activity-based camps a great way to ensure they stay active.

  3. Sports summer camps If your kiddo loves a specific sport then you probably don’t have to think twice, just search for a tennis summer camp near me or whatever other sport they like and sign them up to that specific sports camp. If there isn’t any sport in particular that your kid enjoys, you can have a chat with them and ask them if they would like to dabble in any. This is a great way for your kid to explore a sport before taking it up during their school during their academic year.

  4. Swim camps Swim camps are all around and are fairly easy to find. These sorts of camps usually tend to be day camps. So this means that your kid can have access to a pool, learn the correct swimming techniques, proper form, an array of strokes, right breathing techniques, and the discipline required to master this sport, all while being able to come back home to spend the rest of the day or evening with your entire family.

  5. Robotics camps The world is driven by all things STEAM these days, and if you want your little one to excel and have a leg up on their classmates and competition then this is the way to do it - get them into a computer science camp or a robotics camp. These camps do a great job of helping kids learn the meaning and applications of concepts in a manner that sticks with kids. It also helps that robotics camps involve collaboration and kids being physically active

  6. Outdoor adventure camps Kids these days, especially city kids, don’t really have the opportunity to go out and explore nature the way you or the older generation did. Every kid should be able to have at least the summer to go out into nature, explore the wild, and learn important life skills that they simply wouldn’t learn being couped up in the city throughout their academic year. Outdoor adventure camps are all about physical activity and learning.
